Our 30-day #MyOneShirt challenge begins this May 3rd.  We are asking students to take the challenge to wear a Speed the Light T-Shirt for 30 days.  Each student will have two weeks to fill out a pledge form to raise funds through sponsors.

If a student has 10 people give $1 a day for 30 days, they can raise $300!  We have over 40 students who have signed up to wear their shirt.  With a goal of $25,000 for Speed the Light this year, we need your help to bring a voice to the voiceless and justice to those in need.

Silence to advocacy.

Apathy to action.

Entitlement to responsibility.

What should I pack? Comfortably-warm clothing (it can get a little cool in the convention center), your Movement Notebook, and a one-piece bathing suit for a potential pool-time. If you do not own a one-piece, please bring a dark t-shirt to wear over your bathing suit. All bathroom supplies will be provided by the hotel. Please pack as light as possible.

 Group T-Shirts! We’ll be handing out group t-shirts at check-in. Be ready to change into that shirt! Our entire group will be wearing them on Thursday night!

 Should I bring cash? Yes. You’ll need $10 for lunch on Friday. You’ll also have the option of purchasing merchandise at the convention center, shopping at the Park City Mall and participating in offerings during our services.

 Can I bring my cell phone? Yes. Please do not have it out during services and limit your overall use. Convention is an amazing opportunity to build relationships.

 What else do I need to know?  We’re gathering in the Youth Center for 30 minutes after check-in for an orientation.
